Carson School District pondering the future of property at 1600 Snyder Avenue

Carson High School
Meeting begins Wednesday, 6pm, September 25th

School District’s Strategic Plan Meeting to Focus on 1600 Snyder Property

The Carson City School District’s quarterly Professional Learning Community meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 6 p.m., will offer a report from the Citizens Committee for 1600 Snyder. The meeting, held inside the Carson High School Library, will be the first meeting of the 2019-2020 school year.

The citizens committee, which has met every Wednesday throughout the month of September, will provide feedback regarding their suggested uses for the 1600 Snyder Property.

The purpose is to learn how the school district’s strategic plan is performing and suggest ideas on how to better help meet the plan’s goals, objectives and strategies.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end promptly at 7:30 p.m. Citizens may park along the curb (both sides) in front of Carson High School and enter the building at the south entrance near the flag pole. Citizens are welcome to share this invitation with colleagues, friends and neighbors who might be interested in attending this meeting and/or joining the group.
