Then there were 3. And there may be more!
Local businessman Nathaniel Killgore has thrown his hat into the ring for Mayor of Carson City. He’ll be making his intentions official Saturday at Battle Born Social located at 314 North Carson Street at 4pm sharp. Two other local notables have already declared their candidacy for Carson City Mayor – current City Supervisor Lori Bagwell and local resident Aaron Sims.
In his press release Killgore says he’s a long time local owner of the Caterpillar Hookah Lounge which has allowed him to have endless conversations with local patrons who give him constructive feedback as to how the city is being run and predictions for the future. Killgore says Carson City’s K-12 school system need improvements as well as a cap on annual increases in housing rents – no more than 3%, according to Killgore. He invites the whole town Saturday afternoon to come down and share their vision of Carson City’s destiny.
