When the Carson Farmers Market cranks up again on June 6th at 3rd and Curry, there will be fresh fruits and vegetables on table-tops but they’ll be pre-packaged. Market employees will be wearing face masks and customers are ALSO asked to wear face masks.
Here are the rules: Ten feet between vendors. Only farmers and ranchers will have booths. No artisans, no seating, no entertainment, no drinking stations and no sampling of food. The complete rules and procedures are available by clicking here.
The Carson Farmers Market is located in the 3rd Street parking lot downtown, between Curry and Nevada streets. The market starts June 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and runs every Saturday through Sept. 26.
