Nevada OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) has lowered the boom on stores that allow customers inside their establishments while not wearing facemasks. Governor Steve Sisolak, like so many other governors around the country, kept getting reports that stores were allowing “maskless” customers inside to shop – and in so doing allowing the spread of the Corona Virus to expand throughout Nevada by those who don’t even know they’re carrying the virus.
Governor Sisolak finally had enough. Working with Nevada OSHA, the stores started getting fines in the thousands of dollars. Here’s a list of some of the heavier fines, according to Nevada OSHA:
RAC Guns & Ammo LLC: 3030 Mill Street, Reno, $3,643
Winco Foods: 2855 Northtowne Lane, Reno, $7,374
Wal-Mart Store #1648: 3770 U.S. Highway 395, N. Carson City, $8,675
Wal-Mart Store #3408 : 3200 Market Street, Carson City, $8,675
The Home Depot: 921 Jacks Valley Road, Carson City, $8,675
Grocery Outlet: 7 Dayton Village Pkwy, Dayton, $6,073
Walmart Neighborhood Market: 6151 West Lake Mead Blvd., Las Vegas, $13,494
Governor Sisolak,, like other governors around the country, have grown weary of those who maintain that “I have a right to not wear a mask if I so choose. It’s a free country!” Again, it’s like demanding one’s right to do 50 mph in a school zone – you’re endangering other peoples’ lives. Endangering…other…peoples’…lives. And thousands upon thousands of people are simply refusing to obey the law. Therefore the stores are being told to not let people inside their establishments without a proper facemask. Those stores who let them in get hit hard with big fines.
There is such a thing as REALITY. And the reality is that the Covid-19 virus is spreading like a prairie fire across the country. Thousands of people are dying because those who have the virus – BUT DON’T KNOW IT – are feeding the flames. Simple as that.
