Update on Shooting in Carson City

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division is asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects involved in a shooting that occurred Thursday morning in the area of Stanford Drive.
At approximately 8:11am the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a wounded patient at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to the hand.
Upon arrival, Deputies were informed by the victim that three unknown persons forced their way into his home in the 1500 block of Stanford Drive – the victim was instantly shot during a confrontation. The unknown assailants fled immediately. The victim transported himself to the Hospital.
The assailants are described as three males in their 20s. Two were wearing dark colored clothing and the other was in light colored clothing. All three suspects were described to be in hoodies and wearing face coverings.
