Auto hits a pedestrian at Carson High
3:36pm A young lady student driver and her mother went for a drive-around-training trip Thursday afternoon. The young lady maneuvered the family vehicle into the south parking lot of Carson High and began to talk. Apparently mom was upset about something because she stormed out of the car and headed to the front of it. According to Sheriff’s Deputies the very upset student driver likely got disoriented because the car suddenly moved forward and bumped her mother and she fell.
An ambulance was called to the scene and transported the mother to Carson Tahoe RMC for an evaluation. She didn’t appear to be seriously injured.
The lesson learned might be that sometimes driver’s training should involve a calm, certified driver instructor.
