From Nevada Day Committee
The Nevada Day Committee would like to officially announce that due to current Covid-19 conditions the traditional Nevada Day Celebration will have a new look this year.
The focal point of the Nevada Day Weekend is usually the large parade down main street Carson City. Unfortunately this cannot take place like in years past. However, we are working with the Brewery Arts Center and other nonprofits to create mini parades and events throughout the community, along with finding ways to still have the other staple events that make up this unique birthday bash, like the Single Jack Rock Drilling Contest, Hot Air Balloon Launch, and Beard Contest.
Yes, our states historic 156 th Anniversary of statehood will be celebrated!
After a 10 year hiatus, we are proud to announce the return of the Nevada Day Golf Tournament! Located at the beautiful picturesque Silver Oak Golf Course, the tournament will take place Saturday, October 24th, tee time 9:00 A.M, and will include breakfast, lunch, and a copious amount of giveaways and raffle prizes. More details to follow.
We will update you on all the upcoming events over Nevada Day weekend as they are finalized. They will be posted on Nevadaday.com, Facebook, or Instagram, announced on CarsonNow, or you can call or visit the Nevada Day Store. The phone number is 775-882-2600 and we are located at 716 N Carson Street next to the Nevada State Museum.

Please continue to spray, sanitize, wipe, wash, and wear so we can have a Nevada Day Parade next year!
