The Carson City Library is technically closed but patrons can still check out books, movies and other good stuff despite the Governor’s shut-down due to an elevated level of the Covid-19 virus.
The Library still has both book drops for returning library materials – both in the front of the library and via the drive-up in the back. Contact the library by phone or on line for access to digital resources, to put a hold on a book, movies, music or more via the library catalog. Then schedule a curbside pickup. The library’s phone number is 775-283-7590. You can also contact the library by email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Access to library personnel is Monday through Friday, 10am to Noon, then 3pm to 5pm – Saturday 1-4pm starting December 5th. Curbside pickup of materials requires that you wear a facemask.
