Life-long Carson City public servant dies from Corona-19 virus
One of Carson City’s most notable political icons has succumbed to the Covid-19 Virus, which was made complicated by pneumonia. Alan Glover, who served many years in the Nevada Legislature and 20 years service as Carson City’s Clerk-Recorder was known for his passion for detail in creating and distributing governmental regulations as well as some of the history of Carson City, Nevada’s Capital.
Glover retired from the city in 2014.
Gov. Steve Sisolak described Glover as, “an exemplary Nevadan who had committed himself to a life of service leading to the improvement of his hometown of Carson City and to our great state of Nevada. “Kathy and I send our love and condolences to his wife Harle and the entire Glover family.
