A chain reaction rear-ender badly damaged three vehicles on Highway 50, just east of the I-580 overpass Friday evening. A red SUV came up behind some stopped traffic and smashed into the back of a sedan, which lurched forward to smash into the back of a large truck.
NHP Troopers say the crash was obviously caused by the last driver in red SUV. He was arrested for drunk driving.
