Joyful Noise – A Holiday Treat!!

JOYFUL NOISE – A HOLIDAY TREAT CONCERT
Concert Video Streaming Now
The Carson City Symphony Association presentation of “Joyful Noise – A Holiday Treat” concert is available for viewing on the Carson City Symphony channel on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FotJ1LrGWCA, and from Facebook.com/CarsonCitySymphony. The concert features John and Cherie Shipley with their Joyful Noise Chorus and Band.  They have been performing “Joyful Noise” concerts each December since 2002.
The show was performed onstage at the Carson City Community Center on December 13, 2020, without an audience. It is a collaboration that brings the holiday spirit to the community to enjoy safely in a new format, consistent with distancing protocols.

Lead singer Cherie Shipley said, “We love to have a mix of energies and dynamics! The concert is a potpourri of music styles – jazz, rock, country, and traditional – including pretty ballads, toe tappers, funny songs, and a bit of holiday standards.”

Video recording is by Keith Barnett of WSV digital Media Services, and audio is by Kelly Dodge of KD Sound Co.  A PDF version of the printed program can be downloaded at http://ccsymphony.com/201213_Joyful_Noise_HT_Program_reduced.pdf.
