Vegetation Fire on west side of Empire Ranch Golf Course
Tall flames threatening a home on Fairway.
6:58pm Report of a vegetation fire at the Empire Ranch Golf Course. Fire units are enroute. The fire is approaching homes.
7:18pm Carson City Firefighters on scene knocking down tall flames emanating from thick sagebrush behind homes east of the Fair Way traffic circle/roundabout. Cause of the fire was not immediately released.
Firefighters stopped the flames about 20 feet from the back door of a home.
