Natural Gas Leak at Kings Canyon and South Ormsby
12:50pm Report of a homeowner at 1555 Kings Canyon Road digging in his yard and punctured a natural gas line. Carson City Fire-Rescue is enroute. Stay clear of the area.
12:55pm Fire-Rescue says there’s a dug hole in the home’s yard. They’re setting up to protect the area while they try to seal off the leak.
12:57pm Firefighters say the gas company is already on scene and will be working to repair the line.
12:59pm Gas line is clamped. Repairs are underway.
