Details were a bit sketchy Saturday evening, but it appeared that a lady driver headed north through the Stewart/Carson Roundabout hit another vehicle in the roundabout, then proceeded northbound where she left South Carson pavement – went up onto the sidewalk and smashed a tall light pole which was flattened. It was then that the woman’s car was stopped quite dead in its tracks. The lady driver was pulled out of her wreck and was loaded aboard an awaiting ambulance. It didn’t appear that the lady driver was injured. She must have been wearing a seat belt. More details from the Sheriff’s Office possibly in the morning.
