Quad-County COVID-19 Update: 1 Death, 15 New Cases, and 19 Recoveries

(Carson City, NV)- Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individual was a Douglas County resident. CCHHS is also reporting 15 new cases and 19 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 12,802, with 12,366 recoveries and 227 deaths; 209 cases remain active.

Drive-thru COVID-19 testing will no longer be provided. However, CCHHS will continue to provide testing for Quad-County residents who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Testing will occur at Carson City Health and Human Service’s main office in Carson City and is by appointment only. Additional COVID-19 testing resources can be found at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/cchhs-covid-19-testing/

For COVID-19 questions, vaccine appointment confirmations, or to arrange for testing, call the Quad-County COVID-19 Hotline Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The phone number is (775) 434-1988.
