Quad-County COVID-19 Update: 11 New Cases and 58 Recoveries
Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 11 new cases and 58 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 11,450, with 9,685 recoveries and 209 deaths; 1,556 cases remain active.

CCHHS is happy to announce that the next employment group, end-to-end essential good supply chain, is now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Appointments for next week are now available. 3:48pm Traffic Crash between two vehicles at Winnie and Lone Mountain. Injuries don’t appear to be serious.
1:05pm Report of a vehicle crash just uphill from Highway 395 on a dirt road.
8:55am Report of an argument at a residence at 21-hundred block of Jodi Lane. Two men, one woman along with young children in the house. One man with a gun is separated from the other male, woman and children. Unknown what sparked the confrontation.
9:07am Sheriff’s Deputies on scene. Sounds like the situation has been handled.
