Quad-County COVID-19 Update: 3 Deaths, 97 New Cases, and 49 Recoveries 

(Carson City, NV)- Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 3 additional deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individuals were:

  • A male Carson City resident in his 70’s
  • A male Carson City resident in his 50’s
  • A male Carson City resident in his 60’s

CCHHS is also reporting 97 new cases and 49 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 8,664, with 4,019 recoveries and 106 deaths; 4,539 cases remain active.

Carson City Health and Human Services is working to identify close risk contacts to prevent further spread of the disease.

Testing is for Quad-County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County) residents ONLY. All others will be turned away. Events may be canceled 48 hours in advance if inclement weather is expected. In observance of the holiday, Carson City Health and Human Services will be closed tomorrow December 25th , 2020. There will be no case update. Case updates will resume on Saturday December 26th on our social media pages and on the Quad-County Dashboard.

Quad-County COVID-19 Update: 105 New Cases and 13 Recoveries 

(Carson City, NV)- Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 105 new cases and 13 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 8,463, with 3,895 recoveries and 97 deaths; 4,471 cases remain active.

Carson City Health and Human Services is working to identify close risk contacts to prevent further spread of the disease.

Subject: Assistance with locating a missing person CCSO #20-7329, 775-283-7850 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in finding a missing person. Frank Figearo was last seen in mid-October 2020, leaving his motel room in Carson City. Mr. Figearo allegedly told a neighbor he was traveling out of state for business. The majority of Mr. Figearo’s belongings were left in his motel room. Mr. Figearo has not been heard from since he left in October. Mr. Figearo’s current mental and medical health status is unknown.

The one vehicle Mr. Figearo was registered to is no longer in his possession. No further details are available regarding possible vehicles. Mr. Figearo is 77 years-old, 6’ tall, 210 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

(Carson City, NV)- Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 6 additional deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. The individuals were:

  • A male Douglas County resident in his 80’s
  • A female Carson City resident in her 70’s
  • A female Douglas County resident in her 70’s
  • A female Lyon County resident in her 90’s
  • A male Carson City resident in his 80’s
  • A male Douglas County resident in his 50’s

CCHHS is also reporting 104 new cases and 75 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 8,567, with 3,970 recoveries and 103 deaths; 4,494 cases remain active.
